Bejewelled Bliss

Well what a lot of wonderful On the Edge cards you have all linked this week. It has been great to see your creativity at work. It is a much more productive use of time than my (Lythan's) little addiction - Bejewelled Blitz on Facebook. Each game only lasts a minute. But it is amazing how many minutes I use up. I think I get mesmerized by all the twinkling gems and bright shiny lights within it. So I decided that this weeks theme would encourage me to spend those minutes card making instead. Help me out won't you?

Bejewelled Bliss

In honour of my addiction to the Bejewelled Blitz game
I would like to see cards with lots of bling and sparkle!

On the Edge

Hello Again Fellow Daring Cardmakers!

Your Fairy cards were fabulous last week - we really enjoyed seeing them all, what a magical array of Fairy-Folk we saw as we wandered through your blogs. Thank you so much for joining in.

This week we have a dare called:

On The Edge

We'd love to see you making use of all sorts of border treatments; scallops, trims, pleats, or anything else which makes the edges of your papers and cards look special. You could use Border Punches, Die Cutters, Lace, Fancy Trims and that's just for starters - let your imagination live right on the edge this week - or maybe even go right over the edge! Here's what the DT have made this week to start you thinking
Have fun!

Away with the Fairies

Thank you to all those who joined in with Rein's Russian themed dare last week - now that was a real Challenge, wasn't it - and we were delighted that so many people rose to it and made such wonderful cards. Well done - you can all award yourselves a gold star!

This week should have been Tanya's turn to set the dare, but she's been unwell for the last few weeks and unable to do much crafting, so we're rescheduling for when she feels better. Instead we've got a Guest Designer Special for you. Our current GD Gail suggested this one - so you can blame her if it fills you with horror, or applaud her if it fills you with joy! lol Our new dare is
Away with the Fairies
and we'd like to see lots and lots of them on your cards this week

Here are what the Design Team came up with, just to get you started on your journey into FairyLand.
Please come back and let us know where we can see your own magical creations.

Russian

Thanks to all of you, that joined in with Vanessa's blue and green dare - what wonderful cards we've seen.

It's Rein here this week and as our Russian girl Irina is here staying with us again my dare is put a matryoshka or another typical Russian element like dress, architecture, or... ..... on your card.

Here's what the Design Team came up with this week to help inspire you

We're looking forward to seeing your cards now, so please come back and let us know where we can see them

Blue and Green...Should Never Be Seen!

Hi everyone, its Vanessa here setting this week’s dare.

Firstly, we’d like to thank everyone who joined in with Sue’s fantastic PostPals dare. We’ve really enjoyed coming along to see your work, but most of all, they’ll bring so many smiles to so many children. Postpals is ongoing and you can join in to send a card anytime.

Another month has arrived and we’d like to say a huge thank you to Pascale for being our fabulous Guest Designer for June, we’ve just loved Pascale’s wonderfully fabulous cards. We’d also like to introduce you to our new Guest Designer for July – the wonderfully talented Gail (scrap-n-card queen).

Finally, onto this week’s dare, and as you will tell from the title...I want you to use blue and green on your cards – they must be the predominant colours, and as the old saying goes...they should never be seen together!! But we all know how they can work beautifully together – so show us what you can do!!

Check out the fabulous cards from the DT :-
